WHEREAS the above noted matter is fixed today on 25th day of November 2025, for judgment before me (Mr. Muhammad Bux Chang), VIII Addl. Sessions Judge Karachi West/Additional Model Criminal Trial Court, the judgment announced in open court, by which, I hereby convict the accused below name is hereby convicted under section 265-H, (2) Cr.P.C for possessing 4430 grams of opium and since it has not been shown that accused is a previous convict of similar offence therefore, the lesser sentence as envisaged in section 9 (1), Table Serial No.5 (d) Column No.3 of the Act 1997 (Amended in the year 2022) is hereby awarded to him. He is hereby sentenced to serve 12 (12) years rigorous imprisonment and he is also fined to pay Rs.3,00,000/- (rupees three hundred thousand only) and in case of its non-payment accused shall suffer S.I for three (06) months. Benefit of section 382-B Cr.P.C is extended to him.
