SUBJECT:      RELEASE INTIMATION OF ACCUSED IN CRIMINAL APPEAL NO. D-65/2023 ST.VS. AHMED U/S 9(c) CNS, ACT, 1997 CRIME NO. 31/2022 P.S LAKHI GATE (SHIKARPUR)

                        WHEREAS, this Court convicted and sentenced accused Ahmed s/o Suhno Shaikh, under section 9(c) CNS Act, 1997 for offence under section 9(d) to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 14 years and to pay fine of Rs. 4,00,000/- (Four hundred thousand rupees) and in the case of failure there to, he shall suffer undergo further SI for 06 months more in addition to susbstantive sentence. The accused Ahmed S/O Suhno by caste Shaikh preferred Special Cr. CNS Act Appeal No. D-65 of 2023 before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana. The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has been pleased to order that “The sentence awarded to the appellant through impugned Judgment dated 09.09.2023 is modified and reduced to one already undergone, which also include the sentence awarded in lieu of fine. The appellant shall be released forthwith if not required to be detained in connection with any other criminal case”.

                        You are, therefore, directed/authorized to release the above named accused from your custody forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime.
