Whereas today i.e. 14th day of February, 2026, I, ABDUL WAHEED A. KHOSO, 1st Additional Sessions Judge/Special Judge (CNS), Shaheed Benazir Abad, have convicted the accused Sher Muhammad Laghari who has been facing trial in Special Narcotic Case No.261/2023, Re-The State V/s Sher Muhammad Laghari, outcome of Crime No.26/2023, U/s 9 (i) 3-E CNS Amendment Act, 2022 of P.S. A-Section Nawabshah. The above named accused has been convicted U/s 265-H (2) Cr.P.C. and sentenced to suffer R.I. for life and to pay a fine of Rs.5,00,000/- (Five Hundred Thousand Rupees). In case of failure to pay the fine, he shall suffer further S.I. for six months. Record shows that he remained in jail being the UTP w.e.f. 31.01.2023, hence, benefit of section 382-B Cr.P.C is extended to him. The above named accused has been produced in custody from District Prison, Sanghar, and is remanded back to serve out the above sentence awarded to him. The Superintendent Central Prison and Correctional Facility, Hyderabad is directed to return the conviction warrant to this Court with an endorsement under his hand certifying the manner in which the sentence has been executed.
