SUBJECT:     RELEASE INTIMATION OF ACCUSED IN CRIMINAL APPEAL NO. S-69/2022 REGARDING AKBAR ALI GOPANG U/S 324, 337-A (I), F (III), F (V), 34-PPC, CRIME NO. 61/2008 OF P.S NEW FOUJDARI.

                        WHEREAS, this Court convicted and sentenced accused Akbar Ali S/O Ali Muhammad by caste Gopang under section 324, 337-A (i), F (iii), F (v), 34-PPC for imprisonment for 10 years and fine amounting to Rs.50,000/- vide Judgment dated 13.12.2022. The accused Akbar Ali S/O Ali Muhammad by caste Gopang preferred appeal before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana. The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has been pleased to order that “Taking the lenient view, the sentence, which has already undergone, is treated as his final sentence. He will however by obliged to pay daman amount whereas the fine amount he has to pay is reduced to Rs: 10,000/-. The appellant may be released once daman and fine amounts are deposited.” Vide order dated 03.02.2025 passed in criminal appeal No.S-69 of 2022. The appellant/accused has paid the daman and fine amounts before this Court.

                        YOU ARE, therefore, directed/authorized to release the above named accused from your custody forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime.
