SUBJECT:     RELEASE INTIMATION OF ACCUSED IN CRIMINAL APPEAL NO. D-16 OF 2024 ST.VS. NADEEM MIRJAT U/S: 9-(C) CNS ACT, 1997 CRIME NO.  48/2021 OF PS DAKHAN

                        WHEREAS, this Court convicted and sentenced accused Nadeem s/o Shamsuddin by caste Mir Jat under section 9-(C) CNS ACT, 1997 for offence punishable 9-(C) CNS ACT, 1997, for period he remained inside the prison (undergo) as well as to pay fine of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rs. One million) by taking the lenient view and in case of failure to pay fine convict will undergo simple imprisonment for ten years vide Judgment dated. 30.03.2024. The accused Nadeem s/o Shamsuddin by caste Mir Jat preferred appeal before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana. The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has been pleased to order that “the sentence imposed on the appellant through the impugned judgment dated. 30.03.2024, is hereby modified. Exercising judicial leniency, the fine amount of Rs. 1,000,000/- is reduced to 50,000/-. The appellant shall be released forthwith upon payment of Rs. 50,000/- provided that he is no required in any other criminal case.” Vide order dated 08.04.2025 passed in criminal appeal No.D-16 of 2024. The appellant/accused has paid the fine amounts before this Court.

                        YOU ARE, therefore, directed/authorized to release the above named accused from your custody forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime.
