SUBJECT:     RELEASE INTIMATION OF ACCUSED IN CRIMINAL APPEAL NO. D-33/2024 ST.VS. KHAN U/S: 9(C) CNS ACT, 1997 CRIME NO. 17/2024 PS LAKHI GATE, SHIKARPUR

                        WHEREAS, this Court convicted and sentenced accused 1. Khan s/o Manthar Unar, under section 9(C) CNS ACT, 1997 for offence punishable under section 9(C) of CNS Amendent Act, 2022, to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 09 years and to pay fine of Rs. 8,00,000/- (Eighty thousand rupees) and in case of failure thereto, he shall suffer to undergo further SI for 06 months more. The accused Khan s/o Manthar Unar, preferred appeal before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana. The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has been pleased to order that “ the conviction of the appellant Khan son of Manthar Unar is upheld, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone. With these observations, the present Criminal Appeal filed on behalf of the Appellant stands disposed of. The appellant shall be released forthwith, if not required to be detained in any other case.” Order dated 10.04.2025, passed in criminal jail appeal No.D-33 of 2024.

                        YOU ARE, therefore, directed/authorized to release the above named accused from your custody forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime.
