SUBJECT:     RELEASE INTIMATION OF ACCUSED IN CRIMINAL JAIL APPEAL NO. D-06/2023 REGARDING AHSAN ALI CHACHAR U/S 9 (C) CONTROL OF NARCOTIC SUBSTANCES AMENDED ACT 2022 CRIME NO. 46/2021 OF P.S JAGGAN @ HAMAYOON.

                        WHEREAS, this Court convicted and sentenced accused Ahsan Ali S/O Kehar by caste Chachar under section 9 (C) Control of Narcotic Substances Amended Act 2022 for imprisonment for fourteen years and fine amounting to Rs.400,000/- vide Judgment dated 01.03.2023. The accused Ahsan Ali S/O Kehar by caste Chachar preferred jail appeal before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana. The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has been pleased to order that “The sentence awarded to him by the trial Court is reduced to that of already undergone including the term of imprisonment in case of default in payment of fine.” Vide Judgment dated 08.05.2024 passed in criminal jail appeal No.D-06 of 2023, directions have been issued to this Court to release accused forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case.

                        YOU ARE, therefore, directed/authorized to release the above named accused from your custody forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime.
