SUBJECT:     RELEASE INTIMATION OF ACCUSED IN CRIMINAL APPEAL NO. D-11/2024 REGARDING ASHIQUE ALI JUNEJO U/S 9 (C) CONTROL OF NARCOTIC SUBSTANCES ACT 1997 CRIME NO. 26/2021 OF P.S JAHAN WAH.

                        WHEREAS, this Court convicted and sentenced accused Ashique Ali S/O Rahib by caste Junejo under section 9 (C) Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997 for imprisonment for 12 years 06 months and fine amounting to Rs.60,000/- vide Judgment dated 12.02.2024. The accused Ashique Ali S/O Rahib by caste Junejo preferred appeal before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana. The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has been pleased to order that “The sentence inflicted on him is reduced to that of already undergone including sentence of fine amount and the terms of imprisonment in default thereof.” Vide Judgment dated 08.05.2024 passed in criminal appeal No.D-11 of 2024, directions have been issued to this Court to release accused forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case.

                        YOU ARE, therefore, directed/authorized to release the above named accused from your custody forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime.
