SUBJECT:     RELEASE INTIMATION OF ACCUSED IN CRIMINAL APPEAL NO. D-12/2024 REGARDING KHALID HUSSAIN KHAROS JATOI U/S 9 (C) CONTROL OF NARCOTIC SUBSTANCES ACT 1997 CRIME NO. 82/2022 OF P.S STUART GANJ.

                        WHEREAS, this Court convicted and sentenced accused Khalid Hussain S/O Ali Hassan by caste Kharos Jatoi under section 9 (C) Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997 for imprisonment for 07 years and 06 months and fine amounting to Rs.35,000/- vide Judgment dated 14.02.2024. The accused Khalid Hussain S/O Ali Hassan by caste Kharos Jatoi preferred appeal before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana. The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has been pleased to order that “The sentence awarded to him by the trial Court is reduced to that of already undergone including the term of imprisonment in case of default in payment of fine.” Vide Judgment dated 14.05.2024 passed in criminal appeal No.D-12 of 2024, directions have been issued to this Court to release accused forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case.

                        YOU ARE, therefore, directed/authorized to release the above named accused from your custody forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime.
