SUBJECT:     RELEASE INTIMATION OF ACCUSED IN CRIMINAL JAIL APPEAL NO. D-09/2023 REGARDING IMTIAZ ALI KALHORO U/S 9 (C) CONTROL OF NARCOTIC SUBSTANCES (AMENDED) ACT 2022 CRIME NO. 09/2022 OF P.S MIAN JO GOTH.

                        WHEREAS, this Court convicted and sentenced accused Imtiaz Ali S/O Liaqat Ali by caste Kalhoro under section 9 (C) Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997 for imprisonment for 09 years and fine amounting to Rs.80,000/- vide Judgment dated 01.04.2023. The accused Imtiaz Ali S/O Liaqat Ali by caste Kalhoro preferred jail appeal before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana. The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has been pleased to order that “The sentence awarded to him by the trial Court is reduced to that of already undergone including the term of imprisonment in case of default in payment of fine.” Vide Judgment dated 15.05.2024 passed in criminal appeal No.D-09 of 2023, directions have been issued to this Court to release accused forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case.

                        YOU ARE, therefore, directed/authorized to release the above named accused from your custody forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime.
