SUBJECT:     RELEASE INTIMATION OF ACCUSED IN CRIMINAL JAIL APPEAL NO. D-12/2024 REGARDING SABIR CHANDIO U/S 9 (C) CONTROL OF NARCOTIC SUBSTANCES ACT 1997 CRIME NO. 55/2021 OF P.S LAKHI GATE.

                        WHEREAS, this Court convicted and sentenced accused Sabir S/O Abdul Latif by caste Chandio under section 9 (C) Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997 for imprisonment for twelve years and six months and fine amounting to Rs.60,000/- vide Judgment dated 20.03.2024. The accused Sabir S/O Abdul Latif by caste Chandio preferred appeal before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana. The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has been pleased to order that “The sentence awarded to him by the trial court is reduced to that of already undergone including term of imprisonment in case of default in payment of fine.” Vide Judgment dated 22.05.2024 passed in criminal appeal No.D-12 of 2024, directions have been issued to this Court to release accused forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case.

                        YOU ARE, therefore, directed/authorized to release the above named accused from your custody forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime.
