SUBJECT:- RELEASE LETTER.
Whereas, this Court had convicted accused namely Siraj Ahmed son of Qamaruddin by caste Lolai Buledi, who has been faced trial before this Court in Special Case No. 143/2022 The State Versus Siraj Ahmed Lolai Buledi for offence U/S 9-C CNSA, bearing Crime No.92/2022 of P.S Nasirabad, vide judgment dated 03.05.2023 and sentenced to suffer R.I for 14 years and fine amount of Rs.400,000/-.
Hence, the above named convicted accused preferred Cr. Appeal No.D-30 of 2023 U/s 410 Cr.P.C before the Honourable High Court of Sindh Circuit Court Larkana, against the impugned judgment.
The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has passed judgment dated 02.04.2024 as under:-
"The instant appeal is dismissed as not pressed and the impugned judgment to the extent of conviction of the appellant is maintained; however, the sentence awarded to him by the trial Court vide impugned judgment dated 03.05.2023 is reduced to the imprisonment which he has already undergone in incarceration. The sentence of fine is also remitted in the circumstances. Appellant Siraj son of Qamaruddin Lolai Buledi shall be released forthwith, if he is not required to be detained in any other case”.
The Judgment has been verified as genuine one by the Deputy Registrar, Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana vide Letter No.7957/LCC/Cr. J.A No.D-30/2023 Larkana dated 05th April, 2024.
You are, hereby directed to release the above named Convict as per directions of Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana.
