SUBJECT:      RELEASE INTIMATION OF ACCUSED IN CRIMINAL APPEAL D-NO. 08 OF 2025 REG. ABDUL MAJEED U/S: 9(C) CNSA 1997 CRIME NO 53/2021 PS MIAN JO GOTH

                        Whereas, this court convicted and sentenced accused 1. Abdul Majeed s/o Ali Gul Solangi, and he was convict for the offence for which he has been charged and tried and therefore convict him in terms of section 245 (ii) Cr.P.C and for reasons and attending circumstances discussed supra sentence him with imprisonment for the period he remained inside the prison (undergone) as well as to pay fine of RS.10,00000/- (Rs. One Million) by taking the lenient view and in case of failure to pay fine convict will undergo simple imprisonment for ten years. The accused 1. Abdul Majeed s/o Ali Gul Solangi, preferred appeal before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana. The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has been pleased to order that “The Criminal Jail Appeal is dismissed. Consequently, while maintaining the conviction of the appellant, the sentence fine of Rupees one million or the period in case of default thereof, is reduced and merged into the period which the appellant has already served while being in custody. The appellant is in jail, he shall be released forthwith, if not required to be detained in any other case.

                        You are, therefore, directed/authorized to release the above named accused from your custody forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime.
