SUBJECT:      RELEASE INTIMATION OF ACCUSED IN CRIMINAL APPEAL D-NO. 62 OF 2024 REG. NADIR UNDER SECTION 9(3)(C) CNSA (AMENDED ACT, 2022) CRIME NO. 112/2024 PS NEW FOUJDARI  

                        Whereas, this court convicted and sentenced accused 1. Nadir s/o Haji Sajjan Kosh Jatoi, and he is found guilty for committing the offence u/s 9(3) (c) of CNS Act, 1997/2022. Therefore, the accused was convicted U/S 265-H(ii) Cr.P.C and sentenced him R.I for nine (09) years with fine of Rs. 80,000/= (in words, eighty thousand rupees). In default of payment of the fine he shall suffer S.I for six months more. The benefit of section 382-B Cr.P.C is given to him.   The accused, preferred appeal before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana. The Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court Larkana has been pleased to order that “The instant Criminal appeal is dismissed to extent of convication. However, the sentence awarded by the learned trail Court is modified and reduced to the period already undergone. The sentence of fine is also remitted. The appellant is in jail, he shall be released forthwith, if not required to be detained in any other case. Judgment dated 22.06.2026, passed in criminal appeal D-No. 62 of 2024.

                        You are, therefore, directed/authorized to release the above named accused from your custody forthwith, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime.
