The release writ for individual accused along with parentage confined in prison should be carefully verified with the Case number, FIR number, Police Station, offence and date of issue. Subject: RELEASE WRIT/ACQUITTAL INTIMATION.
Whereas, below-named accused/convict was convicted by this Court vide Judgment dated 24.01.2024 and was sentenced to suffer life imprisonment and pay Rs.200,000/-(Rupees Two Lacs only) as fine and whereas below-named accused/convict preferred the appeal before Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court, Larkana against the said Judgment of this Court. The Honourable High Court of Sindh Circuit Court, Larkana has been pleased to dismiss his appeal and the impugned Judgment to the extent of conviction of appellant named-blow is maintained, however the sentence awarded to him by this Court is modified by Honourable High Court of Sindh Circuit, Larkana and reduced to that of already undergone, the sentence of fine is also remitted, vide Judgment dated 15.6.2026 passed in Criminal Appeal No.D-09/2024, Muhammad Farooque Punjab Versus The State.
Therefore, you are, hereby directed to release the below-named prisoner forthwith in the case/crime mentioned-below, if he is no more required in any other custody case/crime. If the custody of the prisoner is shifted to some other prison, then this Release Writ be forwarded to the concerned jail authorities for immediate compliance, under intimation to this Court.
